LOCALIST is a fresh project I’ll be working on over the next few weeks.

Both a blog and a resource, my goal is to keep busy exploring neighborhoods in Dallas, try new food and drink, see some live music, and spend some time outdoors.

This by no means an attempt to replace services like Yelp and UrbanSpoon. Rather, it can be used as a tool in conjunction with these sites to explore some truly great parts of Dallas. By focusing my interests on places local to Dallas, it becomes easier to get an idea of what makes this city so great.

Over the last few months, I’ve been working with a team of three creating a mock campaign for the Fort Worth beer bar, The Flying Saucer. With the help of art director Kirby Sandifer and copywriter Zach Cornwell, I think we pulled out some really great work.
